Dr. Camille Kim, DPM

Dr. Kim founded ARCO with a simple belief: patients deserve time with their doctor. As a physician, she understands the demands of modern healthcare—and as a patient herself, she has experienced how easily medical visits can feel rushed. She wanted to create a practice where the experience could be different. As an out-of-network practice, ARCO offers greater flexibility to spend meaningful time with each patient, listen carefully to their concerns, perform a thorough evaluation, and develop a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs. Many of Dr. Kim’s patients have told her that one of the things they value most is that they never feel rushed during their visits. ARCO was created to make that kind of personalized, unrushed care the standard.

Dr. Kim is a board-certified physician who provides both conservative and surgical treatments for all foot and ankle conditions. Dr. Kim grew up on Long Island and earned her bachelor's degree from Emory University. She then spent two years working as a research associate in the Department of Plastic Surgery at NYU, where she worked with the Department of Defense to help soldiers with severe craniofacial and extremity injuries through innovative tissue engineering.

Having discovered a new passion for medicine, she went on to earn her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Kim completed a rigorous three-year surgical residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, where she specialized in reconstructive surgery, trauma, and limb salvage procedures. During her residency, she was featured in The New York Times for fighting COVID-19 on the front lines alongside her colleagues.

Dr. Kim firmly believes that art and science are interdependent. She hopes to work with amputees one day and design better, more affordable, and functional prosthetics. Outside of medicine, Dr. Kim enjoys spending her free time bouldering, fencing, skiing, and practicing ballet.
